Amelia Island Florida Inn for Sale

Amelia Island. Paradise on the Florida coast!

The B&B Team is proud to offer this Amelia Island Florida inn for sale in the picturesque seaside community of Fernandina Beach. Amelia is a barrier island on the northernmost corner of Florida. The Inn is positioned in the historic district of Fernandina Beach, just minutes from 13 miles of crystal sand beaches on the Atlantic and the Intracoastal Waterway and lively marina. Within walking distance to the village with boutique shopping, eclectic restaurants and historic attractions. The village was established in the 19th century, full of ornate and lovingly restored Victorian manses.  Amelia Island has been the leisure getaway and vacation destination of choice for decades. Its laidback and relaxed lifestyle is addictive yet active resort activities are bountiful across the island, land and sea.

Fernandina Beach made the list of Southern Living’s The South’s Best Small Towns, 2017.

“This little sand-in-your-shoes town on Amelia Island has a colorful, lively downtown you can explore before you head back to those Atlantic waves.”

The Addison on Amelia is a 14 guest room updated plantation style bed and breakfast. The Inn itself is comprised of three buildings that surround a central courtyard with lush gardens, brick walk-ways, and a three-tier fountain as the centerpiece. Shaded by the island’s famous moss draped oak trees. Several rooms have porches overlooking the courtyard verandah where guests gather for breakfast and in the afternoon for Happy Hour.

The main 1876 historic plantation style building has 5 guest rooms. Two buildings were added in 1996 forming the center courtyard. The additions to this Amelia Island Florida inn for sale were built to integrate with the style of the original house. The remaining 9 guest rooms are located in the two newer buildings.

The décor of the 14 guest rooms and common areas evokes recollections of Old Florida. With four-poster beds, rich hardwood floors, and ceiling fans stirring a cool breeze. The color schemes are fresh, bright with hints of the tropics, just what guests are seeking in a seaside Florida bed and breakfast. Four of the guest rooms have gas fireplaces. Many guest rooms feature jetted tubs and walk-in showers. Innkeepers pride themselves in offering luxurious environmentally sensitive amenities for the bath and shower. All guest accommodations have either central air conditioning or individually controlled ‘split’ heat-pump/AC units.

You enter the Inn from charming palm tree lined Ash Street and are welcomed at a reception area. Opposite is an elegant parlor/living room with a welcoming gas fireplace used in the winter months (average winter temps. 65 degrees!). Down the hall is a spacious dining room conveniently located next to the Inn’s fully equipped kitchen. The Inn is open year round. Jacksonville airport is only 30 minutes from the island.

Owner’s quarters consist of a living room, small office and mini kitchen on the first floor off the kitchen. Upstairs is the owner’s bedroom and bath.
