A newcomer to the  scene is the Tanglewood Learning Institute, just down the road from the Inn, opening in 2019 and which will be a year-round facility. This Lenox hub will be a center for educational and cultural activities.

Twelve guest rooms are located in the 1882 main house. Plus three larger rooms, including one suite in an adjacent Carriage House built in 2003. The guest rooms feature king and queen beds,  the carriage house rooms have extra beds to accommodate 3 to 4 guests. Select rooms features fireplaces, TV’s and whirlpool tubs.

The common rooms on the ground floor are a wonderful example of an historic decorative yet comfortable Victorian floor plan. The welcoming reception hall includes a fireplace plus a grand main staircase. In addition, a front parlor and adjoining dining room complete the welcoming common areas. Plus a 24 hour guest pantry.

The fully and well equipped spacious  kitchen is conveniently located next to the dining room. A new commercial range and hood were recently installed. An added feature in the kitchen is a pleasant private area for owner’s dining and office. There is a private entrance as well.

The grounds surrounding the Inn are lovely. There is an in-ground octagon heated swimming pool and outdoor seating areas. Guests enjoy the outdoor living experience, with the surrounding Berkshire Mountains in view.  This 3-season part of the Inn showcases the emerging beauty of spring, the lazy days of summer and the glorious fall colors.

The owner’s apartment includes one bedroom, one bath and sitting area. An adjacent room has been transformed into a massage and yoga studio. This room could become part of the owner’s quarters if desired providing even more space for the owners with convenient access to the Inn as well as its own private entrance from the outside.
