There is an elevated deck overlooking the property’s marina. The interiors of the rooms are beautifully finished with spruce wood from Finland and Russia for the walls and ceilings.

The Inn is located 7 miles west of Millinocket. 20 miles from I-95, 75 miles from Bangor Airport, 2 hours from Bar Harbor and an easy drive from Boston. The school systems in the Millinocket area are outstanding and there is first quality health care services and facilities found at Millinocket Regional Hospital.

Recently Millinocket was granted a $5.3 million from the U.S. Department of Commerce to be used to build road, electrical, sewer and water infrastructure on the site of the former Great Northern Paper Mill. The plan is to redevelop the 900-acre mill site into an industrial park.

Additional sources of income include rent from 16 mooring slips and their gas pump. With over a thousand feet of lake front and 4.5 acres the demand for weddings is significant. Current owners have chosen not to do large events. New owners could easily expand the business by offering weddings. There is a huge amount of storage under the Eagle’s Nest Loft for vehicles and equipment. This space could also become a meeting or spa facility.
