The Mill Hill Inn building is an attractive converted 1875 barn that was completely renovated in 2010. The structure features original post and beam and wide plank wood flooring. There is a large great room lounge with a Jotul woodstove on the hearth with comfortable seating areas to enjoy the warmth of the Inn. Adjacent is the Studio Bistro Bar. Down a hallway full of eclectic collections and the innkeeper’s own ceramic art, you enter the dining room. A very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere is seen throughout the property.
The Studio Bistro & Bar is a well-established and popular dining venue that attracts locals as well as vacationers from Maine’s Western Mountain Region. The menu is a tapas-inspired small plate menu designed to be shared. The dining venue has been written about and acclaimed by travel writers for Maine Magazine and New England publications.
The Inn’s six guest rooms are located on the second floor. Two of the rooms are suites, one features a full kitchen and can sleep up to 8 guests. The second suite has a dry kitchen and sleeps up to 5 guests. The Inn is perfect for families and groups and is often booked for extended stays.
