The guest rooms are spotless, with a simplicity and vintage charm that is very appealing and appreciated by guests. This guest review describes the Inn perfectly:
“We were blown away by the attention to detail and care that the owners have lavished on this little slice of heaven. The entire property is crisscrossed with mown paths, beautiful flower gardens everywhere you look, a small apple orchard, blueberries and raspberries that are served to the guests at breakfast. Behind the motel are the remnants of a 19th Century barn foundation, cut granite, it is a massive edifice that the owners have ingeniously turned into the backdrop for a stunning array of flowers and ferns–and perhaps a perfect place for a small wedding.”
Current innkeepers have recently installed a solar system that powers the inn. They also maintain walking trails to enhance the guest experience a convenient way to explore the inn’s natural and landscaped acres.
The property is located on Vermont Route 2, a west to east road that starts (or ends) from Lake Champlain to Maine’s Aroostook County. Guests stay at the inn for many reasons.
