This one-day comprehensive innkeeping workshop is a fast-paced, intensely informative workshop that is presented in a logical step-by-step process. All the essential topics of “starting a bed and breakfast” will be covered. Eliot and Marilyn have each owned and run their own inns and have decades of experience helping buyers navigate the process of buying a bed and breakfast. You will benefit from their combined knowledge and experience in acquisition, valuation, financing, staffing, innkeeping, and hospitality. Instruction, workbooks, lunch and a follow-up consultation are included. Consultations are scheduled individually at your option.
Attendees for the one-day comprehensive workshops should plan on being at the workshop venue by 8:00 AM on Saturday. We will start at 8:30 AM and run until 5:00 PM. Join us for dinner on Saturday (at your own expense) as a casual way to get to know one another better.

Attendees are encouraged to spend a night at the host hotel, but this is not required.
Fees: $125.00 for one person or $175.00 for an additional person
Cancellation Policy: Any cancellations received with 21 or more days notice before the seminar will receive a full refund less a $25.00 cancellation service fee. Any cancellation within 21 days prior to the seminar will receive full credit for a future seminar. Lodging cancellations will be governed by the hotel’s cancellation policy.
Seminar participation is limited to ensure the appropriate level of personalized service you expect and deserve. Seminar registration is on a first come – first served basis and, should the seminar be full, we will advise you immediately and place you on a priority waitlist.
